The Tower of Lethendy
Located around 4 miles south-west of Blairgowrie and built of local red sandstone, it is believed that a moat surrounded the original Tower.

Within the extensive grounds of this turreted mansion house of historical and architectural significance, there is a private 18-hole golf course, two tennis courts, a walled garden, an orchard and an outdoor heated swimming pool. Several extensions have been added to the original mansion house. A panel above an entrance door, which has now been covered by a more modern building, is said to have shown a shield bearing the arms of the Herring (Heron) family with the date 1678, probably the date when an extension was added. The more modern grand front entrance is guarded on either side by two stone lions. This Category B listed mansion boasts 3 reception rooms, a library with floor to ceiling oak book shelving, 8 bedrooms and 7 bathroom. In addition to the mansion house there are two gate lodges and two cottages.
